Application

These composite reinforcement products can be used both indoors and outdoors, for new construction as well as renovations.

Composition

The reinforcement meshes are made from epoxy-reinforced glass fiber strands, each with a thickness of 2 mm. These strands are woven into a grid, resulting in an overall thickness of 2.2 mm. The mesh has an average tensile strength of 90 kg/mm².

Installation

Install the reinforcement mesh in accordance with the instructions relevant to the specific application. The simplest method is to anchor it to the substrate either physically (e.g., staples) or chemically (e.g., adhesives, hot-melt glue).

TensoBar’s mesh provides twice the tensile strength of equivalent steel reinforcement meshes.

TensoBar helps distribute tensile stresses evenly, thereby controlling the formation of cracks caused by shrinkage and other tensile forces.

Unlike steel, GFRP does not corrode, improving the durability and longevity of concrete structures, especially in harsh environments.

Despite being lightweight, GFRP offers high tensile strength, which contributes to the structural integrity of concrete.

Due to specific GFRP material properties, the protective layer can be reduced to at least 10 mm.
